Quick Start Guide

Get started with Dodao in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps to begin using the platform.

Prerequisites​

  • A Web3 wallet (MetaMask recommended)
  • Test tokens from supported networks
  • Basic understanding of blockchain transactions

Step 1: Access Dodao​

  1. Visit dodao.dev in your browser

    • Or download the Android app
    • iOS and desktop versions coming soon

  2. Connect your wallet: Connect Wallet Dialog

Step 2: Get Test Tokens​

Choose your preferred testnet and get tokens from the corresponding faucet:

Step 3: Choose Your Role​

Dodao supports three main roles:

As a Customer​

  1. Click "Create Task"
  2. Fill in task details and budget
  3. Select performers from applicants
  4. Review and approve completed work

As a Performer​

  1. Browse available tasks
  2. Apply for tasks matching your skills
  3. Complete assigned work
  4. Submit for review

As an Auditor​

  1. Review disputed tasks
  2. Examine evidence from both parties
  3. Make fair decisions
  4. Help maintain platform quality

Step 4: Complete Your First Transaction​

  1. Create or apply for a task
  2. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
  3. Wait for blockchain confirmation
  4. View your active tasks in your dashboard

Common Actions​

Creating a Task​

1. Click "Create Task"
2. Fill required details:
   - Title
   - Description
   - Budget
   - Deadline
3. Submit and confirm transaction

Applying for a Task​

1. Browse task list
2. Click on interesting task
3. Review requirements
4. Click "Apply"
5. Submit application
